So Mary and I were clothes shopping at the Gap, and I looked up at one of the posters and asked "why do all the Gap models have that sad and vacant look on their face"
to which Mary replied "Because they're Hungry"
it made me laugh very very hard

we built a sandcastle at wreck beach between skimboarding and lying in the sun last summer, mine is the castle Marys is the pyramid, personally I like the pyramid better. and just behind this sandcastle were two fat naked guys playing frisbee who were not at all excited that I was waving a camera in their direction

This is the beginning of a trek at the top of gray creek pass to a peak that has no name, but it does have a stellar view, which I will post in the next entry.

Life is good, had a whole bunch of friends over from Vic, had some nice dinners saw 300 which was awesome and got to hang out with a Mr. Aaron wicks who lives here and were were friends in high school but haven't talked since.

Hung out With Paul the other day, for the first time in a very long time, probably quite a few years actually, probably the first time just him and me, we drank coffee ate chocolate cake and talked of back in victoria days. It was good times.
I also got a raise, today so I am now the official maker of "Fat Stacks Of Cash" which shall henceforth be displayed as FSOC it was only a buck 25 raise, but every bit helps espescially when saving for school, fortunately with such a massive shortage of trades people the government is now giving a thousand dollars to help people out whenever that take trades training, or something along those lines.
They are also putting me in charge of things at work a bit, I get to supervise the newbies, read blueprints and all sorts of other things which are exciting to me but will probably bore you a great deal.
Party tomorrow night Going to see "300" with a bunch of guys on sunday
and if the sun would come out right after giving me a foot of fresh powder on the mountain that would be just perfect

I have SO MANY PICTURES that I have taken over the last year that I would love to post, nut I can't because I don't have a paid account, and as much as I enjoy livejournal I'm not going to buy one because I only come on a few times a year.
It would just make those few times of the year a lot more interesting to the rest of you
Poo.

So I went back to work today after being off and crippled for two months, it was awesome I loved moving around and it felt really good to use my muscles again, even if they were being used to dodge windblown objects at high velocity.
the wind was nuts today. About 10 minutes to cleanup and a piece of plywood 5 feet by 8 feet gets blown off the roof and is hurled to the earth like a giant throwing star, smashing through the window of one of the carpenters pickup truck, with him inside it! he was okay only peppered with glass, but the windshield was totaled.
crazyness
I am also now healed enough to utillize my ski pass and will go do so right now.

Tony Danza! Who's the boss? I'm the boss, That's right
You know, looking around for a picture of myself I realized that I don't have a single picture of myself with my hair combed, I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

As much as I hate to be the guy who posts a whole bunch of crap all in a row obnoxiously filling up everyones friends pages, I felt the need to post this.
I called Rogers and apparently I have $526,000 worth of time on my pay as you go account I just hope they didn't take that off My credit card......
I really would like to see the people of the world "Rise Up" against the evil phone companies of the world, slaughter the CEO's and burn their office towers into to the ground with torches and pitchforks to stand as a lesson against all those who would abuse their power and cause pain and suffering to the people of the world and make the world a better place for all!!!
is that really too much to ask?

I would very much like a glass of water, you'd think that would be an easy thing to obtain, but when I turn on my tap a milky substance filled with particulates comes out because it has rained so much in the last two weeks that the resivoirs are overfilled and contaminated and we are on a boil water advisory
amazing the things you take for granted

So....... been a long ass time hasn't it
I haven't been on much in the last year-ish because I have been busy in the "real world" and haven't really gone on the computer much. I moved to vancouver a year ago with Mary, and have been doing quite well, getting paid pretty damn good for my level of expertise, so apparently I'm alright at what I do. Having a little extra cash flow has contributed to such activities as Skim boarding (my personal favorite) Mountainbiking and snowboarding, and all the gear and expenses that come with that. so essentially all of my free time has gone into that. hence, not much room for livejournal.
but why am I writing now you ask? well I'll tell you
So for about a year now I have been quite a good boy behaving myself socially and not drnking or doing anything that most people would consider "dumb" or "reckless" but I guess That can only last so long huh?
The cause of all this was me deciding to drink at a halloween party back in victoria.... in langford of all places.
after a large bottle of fireball and quite a few beers I challenged my friend to a wrestling duel, 3 second pin. the only suitable place for this being the living room floor, solid oak. despite being outwieghed by about 25 lbs. I managed to beat my friend kyle with a finisher that involved his face hitting the affore mentioned hardwood floor at some speed requiring a need for some paper towels and icepacks. so we called it quits, drank some more beer. then all of a sudden all the spectators (and there were lots) were calling for round 2, even kyle, as he started throwing is bloody towels at me. so round two happens which has a finisher that involves myself being bodyslammed and my collarbone sticking out of my neck at a rather peculiar angle. hospital trip ensues yadda yadda yadda
so moral of the story kids, if you challange your friends to a greco-roman wrestling match while drunk. make sure it's on a soft surface.
so the above story and broken bone has caused be to lose 2 months of work as well as having to wear a back/shoulder brace which limits my movement, and being bored out of my fricking tree at home all day.
so I'll probably be back for a little bit

Gonna see if I can Gain 15 pounds by the end of july. I've gained 15 in the last six months, and I've been going to the gym or pool everyday for the last month, so I figure I could do it.
But having decently wide shoulders and a long torso I wouldn't mind hitting 190 lbs. Eventually.

This weekend was Awesome! We went Dirtbiking All Saturday, it wasn't supposed to be all Saturday, but we drove out Past sooke (Jordan River) to My brother Aaron's friends place, where we headed out from. Had a pretty good run, up and around a mountain, and one of the paths had been blocked off by loggers, so we had to make out own trail through the bush (fun with prickle bushes) Then we came to the stream...
Going along and through many biking excursions, we've ridden through lots of streams so no-one figured this one would have been any different, but it was. Craig went first, he went slightly to the left by an out cropping of rocks, next came Aaron. So he Gunns it full throttle about 6 or 7 feet to the left of where craig went. the first three feet were fine, the next 6 feet he was pulling Jesus then whump! Down he goes, everything below his shoulders is submerged, Steam is flying everywhere because of the heat of the engine, and all you cane her is "Son of a Bi-" as he goes under.
I'm riding about 20-25 feet behind him, and over the course of about 3 seconds, I’m off my bike (which is still upright and moving) Running/leaping into the stream, and hauling my brother out of the stream. Gotta love instantaneous Big Brother instincts.
The bike took a little longer to get out, what with weighing 260 lbs and being underwater and all. And no-one was surprised that it wouldn’t run at all, because water had gotten into the engine block, and we didn’t have the proper tools to get the spark plugs out, Aaron kept trying to start it, and it was turning over fine, but he had a hard time grasping the fact that there is oil/gas in the block and the sparkplug sparks, igniting the gas which explodes which in turn moves the pistons, and that if there was water in the block there could be no spark..... He's a little thick somtimes.
Fortunately some other bikers came by, and one of them had the proper wrench, and when we emptied the block, WHOOSH! huge outpour of water, Hillariousness, we got it working about a half hour later, and got out just as it got dark. Missed work that night too.
SO MUCH FUN!!! I'm all sore so I'm going to lie down now.

So I was at Ian's house Jamming (despite being hideously HIDEOUSLY sick) and preparing for the party tonight (at which we are playing) it all sounded good, except me, I sucked hardcore. but I found that by drinking rediculous amounts of herbal tea I could bring my voice at least to the borders of mediocrity.
That and, I was in the bathroom, and the toilet paper is like little pillows, I swear the stuff must have been at least 8 - ply.
Kinda Like wiping your ass with a rabbit.

I haven't posted anything even remotely meaningful in a while, why? Because mostly livejournal is juat a bitchfest about all the crap that is happening in peoples lives. The thing is, I have no crap, at the moment my life is perfect. I don't have a single Problem that I couldn't solve within 24 hours if I really wanted to. I am Kicking ASSSSS in school, I have no girlfriend to distract, guilt trip, or nag at me. Food is plentiful, Tan is coming? muscles growing (forearms and back mostly, I'm going to look like Popeye soon. Dirtbikes (when they work) provide all the adrenalane a person could ask for.
I think I'm the happiest I've ever been
There is no drama; but I think there being no women is a contributing factor to that. Not That I hate women by any means, just sometimes ladies, you're too fucking nuts to be around, Chill out, you'll live longer.
